Using empty spaces to make users aware of new features

Instagram launched its video chat room feature within the messaging section of the app. This feature enables users to invite to video chat, even if they do not have Instagram. They chose a soft launch and used the empty space of this new section to catch users' curiosity and make them test the feature.
