Avoiding free trials

Endel does not provide a freemium plan. When registering, you get a 7-day free trial automatically (no checkout) and you get access to the full app. After the trial has ended, you need to upgrade to access the app. Having full access to the app for a limited time by default is an interesting way to increase usage. This is especially true for apps that have one core feature and for which freemium is not very appropriate.

On Accountable, there is no free-trail. When you register, you get access to the premium product for 14 days. At the end of the period, you have to upgrade to preserve all the premium features of the product.
